Aicellcosme Tokyo Soothing Gel is a magical soothing gel recommended for skin recovery after aggressive procedures such as peeling, laser resurfacing, or the use of tretinoin or retinol in skincare.

The gel is based on betaine – a natural substance of plant origin that perfectly softens and moisturizes the skin, preventing peeling after peeling treatments.

The main properties of betaine include active hydration, relief of skin irritation, and improvement of skin quality. According to Japanese tests, scientists concluded that betaine surpasses glycerin in moisturizing properties.

The gel contains a rather rare component in cosmetology – the mycelium extract of Albatrellus confluentus, or in Russian, the tinder fungus. It turns out that this extract (thanks to the substances glyforin, neoglypholin, and scytigeral) selectively suppresses the TRPV1 receptor and quickly alleviates pain experienced by sensitive skin or skin subjected to thermal stress.

The TRPV1 pain receptor is a sensory neurotransmitter of discomfort and inflammation, activated in response to stimuli such as heat, acid, and inflammatory factors. At the same time, while causing pain, itching, and discomfort on the skin, it induces inflammatory stress and breaks down tissues. TRPV1 is considered the main cause of skin hypersensitivity and is responsible for hypersensitivity to potentially harmful irritants.

The Magic Soothing Gel not only suppresses inflammation but also boosts skin immunity by stimulating macrophages – a type of leukocyte that hunts down pathogens in our body, whether they are viruses or various denatured substances formed as a result of the body’s reactions to external stress or as a response to hormonal disruptions and changes. Thanks to the stimulating function of macrophages, the gel is particularly indicated for atopic dermatitis, acne, and as post-burn therapy due to enhancing the skin’s own immune function.

The word “magical” in the gel’s name is not accidental, as the gel truly works wonders on the skin.

From personal experience: during a course of peeling without this gel, my skin first tightened, then began to roughen and peel a bit; the sensations were not very pleasant, although the lifting effect was felt very well. Of course, makeup did not sit well at all. Nevertheless, following the peeling protocol, the magical gel took its rightful place in the recovery stage (the protocol is as follows: peeling, vitamin lotion, magical gel, lamellar cream), the skin instantly softened, glowed, and makeup applied very evenly.

The Aicellcosme brand is a small line of doctor’s care developed by Japanese professional cosmetologists. All products work very delicately yet effectively on the skin, systematically structured for skincare. The addition of ingredients in the formulations is based on the principle of “simple, but with proven scientific effectiveness.” The main drivers of the brand’s skincare are vitamins C and E in the “golden ratio,” natural placenta, and vitamin A.

How to use: use as a stage of restorative care after peeling Aicellcosme (according to the peeling procedure protocol) or as needed when excessive dryness of the skin is felt.

As the 3rd step in the skincare routine (after cleansing and washing and after applying the lotion), take a small amount of gel (1 pump) and apply it to the entire face. Then, as needed, usually for dry skin, use a cream.

The gel can be used as a mask or as a massage medium. When using the gel as a mask, it is necessary to apply the gel (about 3-5 pumps) in a thick layer evenly over the entire face and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

The gel is also excellent for hardware procedures on procedures on Clione, ZEUS II, and Ghost. The application scheme in MFIP mode is classic: first, apply the active product, ideally in conjunction with this gel – Aicellcosme vitamin lotion, then apply the gel for better conductivity of the current and sliding of the device. In EMS and RF modes, it is sufficient to apply just the gel.
