—a marine biotechnological ingredient derived from fermented microorganisms found in the depths of the Indian Ocean—stimulates the synthesis of proteins involved in cellular energy production (stimulating mitochondrial function and, as a result, the production of ATP, a coenzyme essential for skin metabolism), which strengthens the skin and improves its firmness. This patented ingredient also provides a pronounced skin-lifting effect, which, according to the manufacturer, is most noticeable 30 minutes after application.

Pseudoalteromonas

is a fermented liquid secreted by microorganisms living in the harsh conditions of Antarctic glaciers. When used in cosmetic formulations, it is designed to protect the skin and retain moisture at low ambient temperatures. On the one hand, it prevents moisture evaporation; on the other, it helps regulate sebum production, resulting in satin-smooth, hydrated skin with tightened pores.

An extract of several species of plankton

is a unique active ingredient that works to repair the DNA of cells damaged by UV radiation and other types of stress. This active ingredient is of interest due to clinical studies on the enzyme photolyase, which is produced by Arctic plankton and allows it to survive for millions of years despite environmental aggression. Directions for use:

The cream can be used as part of a classic skincare routine after lotion or after the BIJOU DE MER Beaute invariante Serum Essence

as part of your nighttime routine. Alternatively, you can apply a thick layer as an evening mask for intensive care.  When using as a mask, apply to skin that has been moisturized with lotion and/or essence, leave on for 20–30 minutes, gently blot with a tissue, and leave the residue on overnight. If using as an SOS treatment, apply the mask and leave it on for 20–30 minutes, then remove any residue with a warm, damp towel or rinse it off. As a night cream, this product is suitable for daily use. As a mask, use it 2–3 times a week.
