The BIJOU DE MER Beaute invariante The Cream is essentially a 2-in-1 product that can be used as an intensive regenerating, moisturizing mask as well as a nightly daily cream. This luxurious cream, with the texture of high-quality sour cream and a rich composition of marine cosmetic ingredients, instantly provides the skin with deep hydration, elasticity, firms, and smooths it.

Advanced marine raw materials from France and Italy, embedded in Japanese skincare formulas produced in high-tech factories in Japan, elevate such products to a new level, surpassing many well-known brands with a half-century history.

Key active ingredients of the Bijou De Mer Beaute invariante line:

Sirtalice® – a marine biotechnological ingredient based on fermented microbes from the depths of the Indian Ocean, stimulates the synthesis of proteins involved in cellular energy production (stimulating mitochondrial activity and consequently the production of the valuable coenzyme ATP for skin metabolism), which gives the skin strength and improves its turgor. This patented ingredient also works for pronounced skin lifting, which, according to the manufacturer, is maximally manifested 30 minutes after application.

Pseudoalteromonas – is a fermented liquid secreted by microorganisms living in the harsh conditions of Antarctic glaciers. In cosmetic formulations, it is designed to protect the skin and retain moisture in low environmental temperatures. On one hand, it prevents moisture evaporation; on the other, it works on sebum regulation, resulting in satin, hydrated skin with tightened pores.

Extract of several types of plankton – a unique active ingredient that works to restore the DNA of cells damaged by ultraviolet light and other types of stress. This active ingredient is interesting due to clinical studies on the enzyme photolyase, which is produced by Arctic plankton, allowing it to exist for millions of years despite external aggression. The plankton extract containing this DNA repair enzyme is one of the key ingredients in the most advanced anti-aging products today, included in formulas to complement the internal DNA repair of cells, which occurs through different principles. With excessive exposure to ultraviolet light (including accumulated exposure), DNA chains can stick together in certain areas, and when such damage occurs, natural DNA repair mechanisms are activated. However, with age, like all processes, DNA repair does not proceed as smoothly as in youth. The DNA repair enzyme photolyase is naturally absent in the human body but has a positive effect on repairing DNA damage when applied externally (source here) in the form of cosmetic/cosmeceutical products containing plankton extract.

How to use: the cream can be used in the classic skincare routine after lotion or after BIJOU DE MER Beaute invariante Serum Essence for nighttime care. Alternatively, it can be applied in a thick layer as an evening mask for intensive care. In the case of a mask, apply to skin that has been moistened with lotion and/or essence, leave on for 20-30 minutes, gently blot with a tissue, and do not rinse off for the night. If used as a SOS treatment, apply the mask and leave it on for 20-30 minutes, then remove the excess with a damp, warm towel or rinse off. As a night cream, the product is suitable for daily use. As a mask – 2-3 times a week.
