Le Ciel de L’aube UV Veil EX sunscreen fluid, 40 g

The gentlest SPF veil with broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. The improved formula of the product blocks not only ultraviolet light but also radiation from the near-infrared region of the spectrum.

The protective factor against long-wave UVA radiation (the most harmful in the long term for our skin) is provided by encapsulated organic sunscreen filters Tinosorb (trademark) and avobenzone.

What does encapsulated mean? It is a special formula of cosmetic products where ingredients are enclosed in microcapsules for gradual release into the skin, at its target level, and to prevent contact with it at the very top level of the epidermis. And it is the encapsulation that allows overcoming possible negative cell reactions, manifested as irritations, allergies, or rejection of active components, which means ineffectiveness of care.

The blocking of near-infrared radiation is ensured by the presence of titanium dioxide, zinc, and aluminum hydroxide in the formula, i.e., inorganic filters that also work for partial reflection of UVB rays, from which we quickly get sunburned.

Also, in addition to the main protective function, the veil Le Ciel de Laube UV VEIL ex has excellent caring properties: squalane perfectly moisturizes the skin, while the plant extract of bird’s knotweed has anti-inflammatory and skin-tightening effects.

Overall, the veil lays excellently on the skin and serves as a base for makeup. Incredibly gentle and weightless, it does not burden the skin at all and leaves no hint of stickiness.

How to use: Apply to moisturized skin with lotion, preferably twice, to ensure the necessary amount of product for proper sun protection.

The recommended SPF norm for facial products for adequate protection is 2mg per 1cm² of skin. To avoid calculating these milligrams, cosmetologists have roughly estimated that this is 1/2 teaspoon and often give this recommendation for the amount of SPF product applied. The Japanese, however, adhere to a different rule: it is when applying the second layer of SPF product that we achieve exactly these 2mg per 1cm² of skin.

Therefore, we apply any SPF twice: the first layer, wait until it is slightly absorbed, and then apply the second layer. It should be noted that rubbing the product with palms is also not advisable – it is better to apply any SPF with pressing movements.
