Mediplorer Premium CO2 premium mask – the new version of the famous carboxytherapy mask from Medion Research Laboratories. The effect of carboxytherapy is primarily the improvement of blood circulation due to the dilation of blood vessels and, consequently, an increase in the delivery of oxygen to the tissues.

The Japanese company Medion Research Laboratories is a pioneer in the use of carbon dioxide in cosmetology. It all started over 20 years ago with research on the effects of carbon dioxide on the skin of bedridden patients with pressure sore problems. It turned out that the local application of a gel with carbon dioxide significantly improved the condition of the skin with trophic disorders and stagnation phenomena.

The premium version of the mask is enriched with peptides that have a targeted effect on lifting and skin tone. The rich formula of the mask works on the smoothness, firmness, and radiance of aging skin.

The formula of the mask contains valuable components for the beauty of our skin:

• Peptide complex SYN®-TC, which increases skin elasticity and smoothness, with a targeted action on supporting 5 types of skin collagen. A powerful active ingredient with a good concentration in the mask formula, it makes the skin firm, smooth, and tight. The complex has proven clinical trials, during which a reduction in the number and depth of wrinkles, as well as an increase in skin firmness, smoothness, and elasticity, were recorded.
• Peptide complex SYN®-AKE with botox-like action. It is aimed at softening expression lines by relaxing the muscles. According to the manufacturer’s research, earlier use of SYN®-AKE helps delay the appearance of wrinkles, thus slightly postponing the overall aging of the skin.
• Combination of vitamin C and vitamin E derivatives – APPS and TPNa

Vitamin C derivative (APPS) with high penetrating ability reaches the dermis level without the use of additional enhancer systems (encapsulation of the active ingredient in liposomes, iontophoresis, electroporation). The high penetrating ability of the active ingredient is ensured by its water-soluble form with amphiphilic properties (the ability to dissolve in both water and fat), allowing APPS to pass through the lipid-rich stratum corneum and the water-saturated epidermis without obstacles. Upon reaching the dermis, APPS is converted into pure vitamin C under the action of skin enzymes and performs its function of stimulating collagen production, thereby increasing skin firmness and elasticity on one hand, while on the other hand, vitamin C works to improve the overall skin tone by suppressing the activity of tyrosinase.

The water-soluble form of vitamin E (TPNa) when entering the skin, is converted into pure vitamin E under the action of an enzyme and works to neutralize free radicals that oxidize lipids, which subsequently leads to the destruction of cell membranes, manifesting as dry skin, increased sensitivity, roughness, and even acne. Under the action of TPNa, the skin is better protected from oxidation, the protective barrier is strengthened, which means fewer inflammatory issues, and the skin becomes glossy and hydrated.

• Acetylglucosamine – works to reduce the degradation of extracellular matrix components (collagen and elastin), making the skin more elastic, firm, and smooth.
• Ceramide complex – protects and restores the skin’s barrier function, hydrates, and prevents moisture evaporation.
• Carrageenan – a valuable ingredient from red seaweed. In addition to excellent gelling and moisturizing properties, it has a moisturizing and rejuvenating effect, often referred to as “second skin” or “natural silicone” for its ability to form a protective film on the skin.
• Acetyl L-hydroxyproline – has an anti-aging effect and maintains optimal skin hydration levels. Hydroxyproline is especially effective in combination with hyaluronic acid. This mix rejuvenates the skin and improves its overall condition by normalizing the functioning of epidermal cells.

The mask is packaged in a beautiful black and gold box. The set includes 6 packets of gel and 6 packets of activating powder.

Application: Following the instructions, mix 2 parts of the mask in a cosmetic bowl. Apply the gel mask to well-cleansed skin using a spatula. Leave on for 20-30 minutes. Then remove the gel mask with a spatula, rinse with warm water, and make a compress with a damp warm towel. Next, apply your usual skincare. For optimal results, the manufacturer recommends applying the mask daily for at least 5-6 days, then once a week.
