The most controversial and undoubtedly the most desired Japanese cosmetic devices from Artistic&Co.
My trophy, Arrivo Zeus II, has replaced my beloved little one Clione. And it seems that I should sing praises to Zeus, but I won’t?. I want to say, they are different, completely different. One thing is wonderful about them – the skin becomes of amazing quality after treatments with them in an instant?.

So what is the difference?

Operating modes

Clione works on all 5 modes simultaneously (EMS, LED, RF, MFIP, Electroporation), Zeus – the modes are activated one after another, LED can be turned off completely. With Clione, you get an express procedure in 10 minutes (recommended 2-3 times a week), Zeus requires more time:

– RF lifting mode and MFIP lifting (also known as electroporation or needle-free meso) – 20 minutes 1-3 times a week

– on the EMS mode, you can do care daily in 10 minutes.

Power

Clione – 0.5A, 3 power levels, sufficient for facial work, RF heating and microcurrent strength are very noticeable. Zeus – 1.5A, 4 levels, designed for treating the face and body. I can’t tolerate more than 2 on EMS for the face, RF and MFIP are excellent (after the procedure, it feels like the skin has been ironed?)

Ease of control and aesthetics

Clione has a much more convenient handle, it is very comfortable to work around the eye area. Overall, it is so light, maneuverable, yet powerful. You need to get used to Zeus. Both have luxurious packaging, serial numbers – everything is as it should be (Clione’s is duplicated three times: box, instructions, the device itself)

Time to results

The skin is smoothed out instantly after one procedure on both devices, and the pores tighten. When working on Zeus – the corners of the lips are noticeably lifted immediately on the MFIP mode and the amazing quality of the skin lasts longer.

Conductive serums

Regarding the serums we use with these devices: I have long underestimated the native gel and serum from Artistic&Co., as my husband says – I thought it was a “scam”?. They provide excellent glide and conductivity, with advanced rejuvenating components (herbs, peptides, growth factors). The gel is comparable only to the ANNO gel from Direia, which we include as a gift with Clione.

Life hacks

1. Before performing the procedure, it is essential to thoroughly cleanse the skin. It is better not to use cleansing oil, as it leaves a slight residue on the skin, which will reduce the effectiveness of the procedure. Cleansing gels + foam + ideally a peeling Aicellcosme or a lotion with AHA acids will work.

2. For better penetration of beneficial ingredients into the skin, especially in winter, the skin can be prepped with a hot, damp towel.

3. When using serums under the device, they tend to dry out quickly. It is important to keep the skin moist throughout the procedure. For this, it is better to apply the product not all over the face and neck at once, but in parts on the area being treated. If the product dries, you can add more, or (to save) moisten the face with a spray bottle of clean water. Some serums and lotions absorb instantly, in this case, a conductive gel must be applied on top (the one that comes as a gift with the Clione device or Artistic&Co massage gel). Among the many products for the device, I would highlight a few with the most pronounced lifting effect: EOS hyaluronic gel, BIEST water with growth factors, Artistic&Co serum. I would like to highlight the serum Sepolage Lipuse Skin Care Serum EP+ – suitable for very dry and dehydrated skin, especially during the heating season.

4. After the procedure, it is necessary to rinse off the residue of the conductive product with cool water or pat with a damp cool towel. Then, apply your favorite mask according to your skin type.

5. The procedure can be performed 2-3 times a week, with a mask according to the protocol and other pleasant things like a preliminary facial massage – once a week. Or do care as needed, for example in the morning, when you need to quickly tone the skin after a sleepless night or a wild party the night before. Care on the EMS mode on Zeus can be done daily.

Conclusion

In the photo, a small experiment: I bought my Clione in August 2020, and I don’t have the latest model (the latest version Clione fit is slightly more powerful). No comments….

Of course, in addition to the procedures with the device, there have been, are, and will be peeling, Refa massage, in winter – retinol peeling with microneedles, SPF, and quality cleansing – every day. Now, with the more powerful ZEUS II in my arsenal, I hope for further rejuvenation))), but I will also keep my beloved Clione – it is just too good and convenient for express care both at home and while traveling!
