Half of winter has passed, and many are increasingly complaining about discomfort in the form of dryness, tightness, and flaking of the skin on the face and body, as well as frequent breakouts.  This is true; in winter, the hydro-lipid barrier is disrupted (the synthesis of ceramides in the skin decreases due to the influence of cold), the skin becomes thinner, and it seems to develop micro-holes through which moisture is lost by the cells (or transepidermal water loss), ultimately leading to the appearance of fine lines, a network of redness, rosacea, heightened sensitivity, and breakouts. 

How to combat skin dryness? 

❌ Do not use water that is too hot while showering. 

✅ Ensure humidity in rooms such as the bedroom, living room, and office.
