Pure Essence DR-VC #10 pure essence with 10% vitamin C

The latest formula MIRA-VC (a derivative of vitamin C) from Dr. Choice, known to many for its star product – the serum with cyanobacteria MAAs.

The serum is perfect for dull and tired skin, including skin damaged by ultraviolet light, as post-traumatic, additional care (after peels, lasers), as well as for those whose care is based on the use of retinoids, particularly tretinoin.

MIRA-VC – a neutral derivative of vitamin C is a combination of ascorbic acid glucoside (AA-2G) and the amino acid arginine. AA-2G itself is an excellent provitamin C, thanks to its stability, high penetration ability, and long-lasting effect. When it penetrates the skin, it gradually converts to vitamin C under the influence of enzymes and begins its work at the cellular level. And in combination with the amino acid arginine, the formula gains even greater value, as it becomes accessible and non-burdensome even for very sensitive skin.

The serum has a neutral acidity level of pH 6-7, which allows it to be safely used for absolutely any skin type.

In addition to the main ingredient MIRA-VC, the serum’s composition is enriched with natural components aimed at enhanced hydration:

– acetylhydroxyproline – a unique ingredient that is quite rare in formulations. It has a powerful stimulating effect on the proliferation of fibroblasts.

– glycosphingolipids – lipids related to our skin (make up 50% of the natural moisturizing factor of the stratum corneum – this is a “lipid glue” that binds the bricks of the stratum corneum of our skin, and the better this glue, the smoother, more hydrated, and better protected our skin is). In formulations, they are responsible for maintaining the skin’s protective function, for moisturizing, and restoring its hydrolipid mantle.

– hyaluronic acid, hydrolyzed elastin, and collagen – quality hydration for the skin.

The serum is packaged in a dark glass bottle with a dropper and is presented in a stylish white box.
